Dacon Europe A/S is a Danish company with a long-standing presence in the yacht and professional shipping industries. Specializing in marine electronics, boat heating systems, and safety equipment, we are committed to providing high-quality products at competitive prices.

Founded in 1989, Dacon Europe began as a manufacturer of inflatable boats in South Korea.
At the time, the market was dominated by a few major players, leading to high prices for these products. Our production in South Korea allowed us to offer inflatables of comparable quality at more affordable prices, setting us apart from the competition.

However, in 1995, we decided to cease our production of inflatable boats due to the increasing dominance of larger outboard motor manufacturers, which made it difficult to secure fair profit margins for boat sales in the bundled packages they offered.
Despite this, our inflatables from those early years—starting in 1989—are still in use on the water today.

In the years following, we formed partnerships with ARIMAR in Italy and PLASTIMAR (AUX Marine), continuing to offer inflatable boats. However, production in Italy eventually ceased, and in 2009, we began working with a manufacturer in China to produce inflatable boats only for the Danish market and no export any more.

In addition to our boating products, Dacon Europe expanded its offerings in 1996 to include marine electronics, such as GPS receivers from Micrologic (USA) and MLR (later Margellan, France), chart plotters from Navionics, and our own Dacon battery chargers, manufactured in France.

Today, we supply our products primarily to boat dealers, chandlers, and boatyards across Denmark, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands, with expanding markets in Sweden and Norway.
To day our portfolio also includes a broad range of own designed high-quality products from respected manufacturers, as listed under our “Agencies” section and some of those in DACON brand as well.

At Dacon Europe, we remain focused on delivering superior products, exceptional service, and innovative solutions for the marine industry.
